Lucy Fox




Lucy Fox is an accomplished Creative Photo Director with 20 years of diverse photo industry experience. Lucy comes from a Fine Art background having been awarded a Rothko Foundation prize for painting while attending the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art.

She completed a BFA from The Museum School in Boston, Alma Mater to such creative talents as David Lynch, Cy Twombly, Ellsworth Kelly, David Armstrong, and Nan Goldin.

After studying Painting, Art History and Photography, her first job was in a gallery in Soho curating shows and exhibiting her own work. From there she transitioned to working in the world of Fashion Photography at age 23.

Over the course of her career, Lucy has worked on staff at iconic brands such as Rolling Stone, CosmoGirl, Teen Vogue, US Weekly, Seventeen, Marie Claire, Nylon, and InStyle, and worked on commercial production for brands such as American Eagle, Maybelline, Discovery Channel, Universal Music, and Warner Brother Records.

Lucy’s diverse skill set includes Management and Creative Direction of large scale, high end celebrity and fashion shoots. Lucy’s expertise encompasses the business of still photo and video production, logistics, and large scale budget and production management.

Lucy’s excellent professional reputation and extensive network of top tier industry professionals combine to make her an asset to any organization. After heading the photo department at InStyle Magazine she co-founded Petty Cash Production, a women-owned, full-service creative + production studio based in New York and Los Angeles.
